Depending on a patient's medical condition as well as flight distance, Allied may be able to give you "options" in the type of aircraft and flight crew utilized. Often, our clients will receive multiple Allied quotations based on the various aircraft mentioned above. Alternatively, there may be other patient travel "options":
For example: A very stable elderly patient (who needs to lie down for comfort) needs to travel from a nursing home in Europe to his/her family in Florida. Allied may present the "option" of a stretcher on a commercial airline rather than a dedicated medical LearJet. Obviously, a scheduled commercial flight will be much more cost effective.
